Sit-in di solidarietà a Cosenza per gli arrestati del g8 di Torino
Domani, martedì 7 luglio ore 18.30, in piazza XI settembre (prefettura) a Cosenza, sit-in in solidarietà ai 21 studenti dell'onda, arrestati questa mattina e che avevano partecipato alla mobilitazione contro il G8 dell'università del 19 maggio scorso a Torino.

sit-in di solidarietà per i 21 studenti dell'onda arrestati per aver partecipato alla mobilitazione del 19 maggio 2009 contro il G8 sull'università a Torino.
Il 19 maggio di quest'anno a Torino si manifestava per salvare l'università dagli interventi ubriachi del governo Berlusconi. In piazza migliaia di giovani protestano. Non sono più disposti ad accettare gli aumenti delle tasse, la favola dei corsi di laurea professionalizzanti per un lavoro che non c'è, gli insegnamenti modi e fuggi, l'arroganza dei baroni universitari che fanno orecchie da mercanti quando si parla di salvare l'università dal suo sprofondamento aziendale. Mentre i rettori continuano a comportarsi come i manager di un villaggio turistico, preoccupati di ridurre i costi e i servizi, questi giovani della generazione X e quelli di dopo si muovono, prendono parola, protestano nelle università e in piazza, vanno a Torino e dicono la loro verità.
Con una mossa prevedibile, “in vista degli imminenti lavori del G8” dell'Aquila, la procura del capoluogo piemontese ordina l'arresto di 21 persone, motivando le misure di custodia con il pericolo di reiterazione del reato. Le prove sono fragili, inesistenti, ma qualcuno deve finire in galera per dare un segnale forte: questi giovani devono imparare a stare buoni, a farsi manganellare nelle piazze senza reagire, ed accettare quello che c'è anche se fa pena.
Immediata la risposta dell'onda. Da ieri, centinaia di studenti occupano gli uffici dei rettori della Sapienza a Roma, di Ca' Foscari a Venezia, di Bologna, Milano, Napoli, Palermo e Pisa. L'ondata repressiva torna al mittente carica di rabbia.
A Cosenza, un mese fa, alcuni studenti si sono visti recapitare un avviso di garanzia perché insieme a molti altri avevano protestato nel corso dell'inaugurazione dell'anno accademico. Anche in questo caso le accuse sono inesistenti.
Per tutto questo ci ritroveremo in Piazza XI settembre stasera, 7 luglio, alle 18.30.
